This piece was inspired by the tropical banana plants that fill my yard.
Ice cream bananas and red bananas fill my tropical garden and inspire me with their beauty and tropical flavors. Yummy and sweet this colorful painting aims to capture the brightness of this tropical treat. This painting includes image transfers which include a banana bread recipe and botanical drawings of bananas. Acrylic paint and oil sticks cover much of the image transfers for a play on digital and analog.
Stretcher bars are created by local woodworker and are extra thick.
