My Guava tree has been in the soil of our property for 5 years and the roots are growing strong. Knocked down by Hurricane Fiona she is an example of resilience, one I look at every day. Despite her setback this tree provides a steady stream of fragrant fruit, most often devoured by the neighborhood birds, some are shared in the parking lots at our local surf breaks, passed out with wet hands or stuck on the windshield as a gift.
Fruits from our yard are grown with love and are meant to be shared, with our friend family, with the community that helps us grow stronger every day. My Guavas are not for sale…. but this painting is.
